OUR GOALS

Big Data Business Academy wants to increase strategic awareness of big data in danish businesses.

We want to make Big Data accessible and easy to understand for Danish businesses and to strengthen Denmark’s global position within the area of Big Data. The objectives of the project are:

  • To upgrade the Big Data skills of the participating businesses
  • To develop new and targeted education programmes with focus on commercial data use
  • Generate an extensive knowledge base which can be widely communicated to Danish businesses in general

METHOD

BIG DATA BUSINESS ACADEMY CONSISTS OF FOUR MAIN ACTIVITIES. ALL ACTIVITES FOCUS ON STRATEGIC USE OF BIG DATA AND ARE EITHER CARRIED OUT OR SUPPORTED BY UNIVERSITIES AND LEADING EXPERTS WITHIN THE FIELD.

The four main activities are:

  • Inception
  • Analysis of barriers
  • Big Data Business Development Programme
  • Communication and development of online portal

Big Data Business Academy is a unique offer for businesses that wish to kick-start strategic work with the area of Big Data. As a participant in the Big Data Business Academy, you will take part in a Big Data Business Development Programme. The Programme starts with an analysis of your business’ potential, followed by development of new solutions, processes and business models. All activities are supported by universities and leading experts in the area of Big Data.
